Detailed Information
The scholarship is open to African nationals, excluding Egyptians, who live in an African country and wish to study for a Master of Science degree starting in the Fall 2026 semester.
Eligible fields include engineering, computer science and information technology, basic and applied sciences, international business, humanities, and heritage science.
Applicants are expected to be researchers or instructors, or individuals with strong potential to become researchers or instructors, and must meet all E-JUST admission requirements, including passing academic interviews and oral examinations.
Applicants must not be in military service. Preference is given to candidates who are employed by universities or institutions in their home countries and intend to return to those institutions after completing their studies, in which case official endorsement from the home institution is required.
The scholarship covers all major study-related costs, including full tuition fees, accommodation, a monthly living allowance, medical care, and return international airfare between the student’s home country and Egypt.
The scholarship duration covers the full period required to complete the master’s degree, which is normally two years, with an additional six months of preparatory courses if needed. Continued funding depends on the student maintaining good academic standing, and progress reports are submitted twice a year to the sponsor.
The scholarship is full-time, meaning recipients must dedicate themselves entirely to their studies and research at E-JUST and are not allowed to work elsewhere during the scholarship period.
