- Every entry will be read by the judges. Judges’ decisions are final. Judges reserve the right to re-categorize entries.
- Entries must be submitted online by September 15, 2018 (12:00 midnight GMT +2). We do not accept mailed entries.
- If the Grand Prize Winner accepts the Samuel Writers, Inc. Conference portion of their prize they must agree to travel (flying round-trip from the same city) during the conference dates in 2019. The editors or agents who meet with the Grand Prize Winner are under no obligation to read, buy or represent the Grand Prize Winner’s work. This prize includes airfare, hotel and conference registration.
- The following are not permitted to enter the contest: employees of Samuel Writers, Inc., a Content and ecommerce Company, and their immediate family members; Samuel Writers, Inc. contributing editors and correspondents as listed on our masthead.
- Top Award Winners will be notified by before February 15, 2018. The top 10 winners in each category will be listed in the May 2019 issue of Samuel Writers, Inc. All winners’ names will be listed in the Annual Samuel Writers, Inc., Competition Collection and at www.samuelwriters.com after the issue is published. Prizes will be mailed by March 15, 2019.
