Ticketmaster has just announced to fans that Burna Boy’s next two concerts on his US tour have been cancelled. According to sources, the ticket purchases were too low, thus the show could not continue. Fans have taken to social media to voice their disappointment, given that the cancellation came within days before the shows took place.

The two shows he’ll not be performing at were on November 28, 2025, at The Armory in Minneapolis and the other one that was set for December 1st, 2025, in Chicago.

While the Nigerian star’s team has been silent on the abrupt pausing of his tour, fans are concluding that it has a lot to do with his recent concert incident. Earlier this week, Burna Boy told a couple to leave his show in Denver because the lady was seen sleeping as he performed. She later took to socials that she was grieving the loss of her daughter’s father and that the concert was meant to cheer up her spirits.

Being escorted out, however, resulted in embarrassment and Burna Boy has since been called out for his behavior.

The viral moment captured by concert goers sparked a controversy, which only got much worse after the singer’s Instagram live session where he said, “I didn’t force anyone to be my fan… right now I prefer fans who have money.”

Celebrities like Rihanna also called out the Nigerian singer for his lack of empathy towards the sleeping fan. She commented, “So not ok bro,” under his post.

More fans have also revealed a similar incident in 2019, where Burna Boy threw money at a fan and told him to leave because he had “bad energy”. During the African Giant Tour, he paused his performance, approached a front row fan and gave him a refund from his own pocket. He then told security to escort the fan out.

With more videos of his questionable behaviour towards his fanbase, a prominent question emerges: will Burna Boy get cancelled?
