The Real Housewives: The Ultimate Girl’s Trip Africa is Here
The drama is piping hot as the Real Housewives: The Ultimate Girl’s Trip Africa debuts on Showmax today.
The Showmax original has the following cast: Madam Evodia Mogase and Christall Kay from Johannesburg; Dr Catherine Masitsa and Zena Nyambu from Nairobi; Annie Mthembu, Angel Ndlela, and Jojo Robinson from Durban; Mariam Timmer from Lagos; and Princess Jecoco from Abuja, revealed by inboundsa.com.
Dr C has already drawn attention to her pointed remarks, like overlooking Madam as a veteran or brushing off rivals. The fire had been lit as she declared not to know the ladies, Madam specifically. Fans are calling her messy and rage-baiting which seems to be working. She has already gained a fan base and has been declared the villain of the season.
Madam Mogase is loved by many as she has been seen in the Real Housewives of Johannesburg together with her daughter, Mercy Mogase. They later had their own show, Madam & Mercy, which ran for only one season.
Showmax recently sat down with Madam as she opened up about her return to reality TV. The scene has evolved with time, but it will not stop her from bringing her A game. She shares about how the opportunity to be part of this group of ladies and travel to sunny Brazil came at the right time.
She enjoyed her time with the ladies, and it brought back some great memories of the past.
"It felt like home, and the incredible team was able to capture more than just my glamour but also my resilience, my laughter and all the moments people hardly get to see of me," said Madam as reported by News24.
She’s in her new fabulous era, staying unapologetically herself and owning her truth. The luxury and drama are not her primary focus; her attention is on creating impact and having influence.
Speaking of drama, Madam’s longtime rival Christall Kay will also be featured in this season and fans are speculating: have the ladies let bygones be bygones or is unfinished business in the air?
“Madam will never disappoint you,” is her promise.
As the first episode has just rolled out, fans should expect weekly episodes, including the show debuting on Mzansi Magic on December 6, 2025. Viewers should stay tuned for exquisite taste, petty remarks, and unfiltered moments in paradise.
