Trevor Noah to Host His Sixth and Final Grammys
Comedian Trevor Noah will return to host the 68th Grammy Awards for a record-tying sixth and final time in 2026, cementing his legendary status as a master of ceremonies for musics biggest night before the event moves to a new broadcast home.
Trevor Noah is set for a historic farewell run. The Recording Academy has announced that Noah will host the 68th Annual Grammy Awards on February 1, 2026, marking his sixth consecutive time as master of ceremonies and, significantly, his last.
In an official statement, executive producer Ben Winston expressed mixed emotions, saying, "I am beyond thrilled to welcome Trevor Noah back to host the Grammys for his sixth, and sadly, final time." The Grammys' social media celebrated the news by calling it a "generational run."
This final hosting gig solidifies Noah's place in Grammy history. After becoming the first comedian ever to host the show five times in 2025, his sixth appearance will tie him with the legendary John Denver. Only Andy Williams, with seven hosting slots, stands ahead of him.
The 2026 ceremony, to be held at Los Angeles's Crypto.com Arena, will be particularly meaningful for Noah as he is also a nominee. He is up for Best Audio Book, Narration, and Storytelling Recording for his work on Into the Uncut Grass. This adds a personal layer to his final night steering the show.
This edition will also be one of the last under the current broadcast arrangement. Following the 2026 show, the Grammys will move from CBS to Disney, airing on ABC, Hulu, and Disney+ starting in 2027. Noah's final bow, therefore, marks the end of an era both for his iconic tenure and for the show's long-standing television home.
